Budduns.ai is an Australian consultancy working with local government. We pair decades of property, asset, and facilities experience with the kind of bespoke SaaS and AI tooling councils usually can't get off the shelf.
That experience spans local councils, state government departments, Australian and US Defence, and major corporates — including leading large, multi-site property, asset, housing, facilities, and logistics programs in operationally sensitive environments. We've learned what good looks like in places where the stakes are high and the margin for error is low, and we bring that lens to every council engagement.
Our story
The only Australian property consultancy whose founder builds the AI tools herself.
We're a startup with decades of combined experience across local government, Defence, mining, real estate and emergency recovery. Founded by Amanda Dunn after thirty-nine years inside the work, Budduns exists to give councils, agencies and regulated businesses the calibre of AI tooling and advisory that's usually only available inside the private sector — and to do it from a small, senior, family-led team that turns up and stays.
We're a property, asset and resourcing consultancy at the front line of practical AI. Two SaaS platforms live across local government in five states and the Northern Territory. A third — Curlew Comply — now live. And every tool we ship is designed and built by the founder, productionised by our cloud engineer, and operationally validated by our specialist consultants. That combination doesn't exist anywhere else in our segment.
