About this policy
Budduns respects your privacy and handles personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy explains how we handle information collected through the budduns.ai website.
Scope
This policy covers the budduns.ai marketing website only. Our products — SHARP Hub, OrgForge, AML/CTF Comply and SMSF Simplify — are separate platforms governed by their own terms and privacy arrangements, and any operational or client data in those platforms is handled there, not here.
What we collect
We collect very little. If you email us through the Get in touch button, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. If you subscribe to our Insights updates, we collect your email address. Our website also records standard server and security logs (including IP address) for a short period to keep the site running and to detect abuse. We use Plausible Analytics, which is privacy-friendly and cookieless: it records aggregate, non-identifying usage data only and does not track you across other websites.
SamyAI
Our website includes SamyAI, an AI assistant. When you type a message into SamyAI, that message is sent to a third-party AI model provider, via Lovable's AI Gateway, to generate a response. Please do not enter sensitive personal information, account numbers, or confidential details into the SamyAI chat. SamyAI is for general enquiries; for anything involving personal or commercial detail, contact us directly.
How we use it
We use the information you give us to respond to your enquiry, to send Insights updates if you have subscribed, and to keep the website secure and free from abuse. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.
Where it's stored
Incidental website data — contact correspondence and subscriber email addresses — is stored in our own Supabase instance hosted in Sydney (AWS, ap-southeast-2). [VERIFY: confirm where email correspondence is actually stored — e.g. Microsoft 365 / your mail provider — and name it here.]
Overseas disclosure
Some of the services that power this website operate outside Australia. Plausible Analytics processes aggregate, non-identifying data on servers located in the [VERIFY: European Union]. Messages you send to SamyAI are processed by an AI model provider located in the [VERIFY: United States]. Cloudflare, which provides our security and anti-spam protection, operates a global network. Where information is disclosed overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the APPs. Your rights
You can ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is wrong. You can unsubscribe from Insights at any time using the link in any update. If you have a privacy concern, contact us first and we will work to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

SamyAI is an automated assistant. Its responses are generated by an AI model and may be incomplete or inaccurate. They are general information only and are not advice for your specific situation. Do not rely on SamyAI for any decision that matters — contact us and speak to a person. Do not attempt to misuse SamyAI, including by trying to extract its underlying instructions or use it for any purpose other than general enquiries about Budduns.

Unless otherwise noted, all content on this website is owned by Budduns or used with permission, and the Budduns name and marks are ours. You may quote short excerpts with clear attribution and a link back to the source page. You may not otherwise reproduce, republish, or commercially exploit the content without our permission.
